A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I am an essential worker, I work at a grocery store.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because it is a passion I love.

3. What inspires you?

God inspires me to be my very best, I strive to do everything with a spirit of excellence, I want to be a beacon of hope, shining light, and love in dark places. Spreading contentment, hope and faith, to all I come into contact with.

4. What/who are your influences?

My influences are Hemingway and Edgar Allen Poe - they were unapologetically themselves, they were bold, and courageous, they did not care what people thought, they freely expressed themselves artistically.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

If I could meet anyone that has passed on, I would like to meet Maya Angelou, she wrote with depth, and raw emotion, she was very prolific in her usage of words, she was gifted in many areas, she influenced, and changed people, world systems with her humble efforts that impacted many lives. She was generous, and kind, and a role model to all.
