A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I am a truck driver, and enjoy spending time with my wife, and two boys. We spend a lot of time outdoors.

2. Why do you make art?

Simply put, nature is beautiful and most times stunning. I believe everybody has a responsibility to appreciate it for those qualities. My work aims to bring that to a visual front, in a way that makes you realize how vital it is to our survival.

3. What inspires you?

My inspirations come from many places. A simple walk outdoors, or spending hours trekking through the woods. Showing my kids that anything is possible is very important to me.

4. What/who are your influences?

I am most influenced by English romantic painter John Constable for all his english countryside work. Also, J.M.W. Turner, Thomas Cole, and Eugène Delacroix.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

If I could meet anyone dead or alive, it would be either John Constable, or George Harrison.
