A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST
1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).
Real estate paralegal for the same attorney for 21 years along with holding a license as a real estate title insurance agent for 35 years. Wife and mother, that's a day and night job but the girl got to make a living!
2. Why do you make art?
I make art to relax. I strive to learn how to put what I want on a canvas and I totally love the challenge. The challenge of working on a piece that is difficult (for me) and the satisfaction I get when it turns out right (in my opinion) fills my soul with happiness. I relax after all that satisfaction.
3. What inspires you?
Compliments. I have been blessed with a group of friends and family that so totally believe in me that they make me want to believe in me! That has a way of inspiring me and... I make sure to sincerely thank them every chance I get.
4. What/who are your influences?
The seasons of the year that bring their holidays with them. Autumn, which I associate with Halloween and all the little creatures that aren't seen the rest of the year. Winter with its different kinds of magic and well, I'm sure you can guess the rest.
5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?
I have given this due consideration and nope, I'm good. Thanks for the offer though ;)
