A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

When I’m not painting, I’m spending time with my horse, a lovely Haflinger mare, that rides and drives.

2. Why do you make art?

I paint to uncover the human-horse connection.

3. What inspires you?

I’m captivated by contrasts: light and dark, hard and soft, straight and tangled.

4.What/who are your influences?

Gordon MacKenzie, Mary Whyte, Chris Owen, Tony OConnor and the wonderful world of horses.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Bono - I’m a huge fan of U2.
