1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I have a business ASK Counseling and am a licensed professional counselor specializing in anxiety, depression and grief and loss issues.

2. Why do you make art?

I paint with joy and abandon and feeling because much of my day is connected with Question 1 above…

3. What inspires you?

Clouds, children, catastrophe, alphabet letters, and my verbal and visual imagination.

4. What/who are your influences?

Shadows and colors; the human condition; every art museum I have ever been in…

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Frederick Law Olmsted, America’s first landscape architect.
