A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I do office work for my husband's business and my cosmetic business. Enjoy 7 wonderful grandchildren. Teach art classes every week. Enjoy being around people.

2. Why do you make art?

The challenge of creating I think drives me.

3. What inspires you?

I am so inspired by just about everything around me. Color, composition, nature and people scenes mostly. When making art, time seems to stand still and I am totally absorbed in the process. Obsessed really.

4. What/who are your influences?

Artist John Singer Sergeant, Mary Cassatt, many in today's world, and all of my artist friends.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Jesus.
